Trailer Theft Prevention

Trailer theft is unfortunately very common. A major business asset like a trailer needs to be protected from thieves, however a sufficiently determined thief can usually drive away with a trailer if he wants one.

However with effective deterrents in place, the thief will likely move on to easier targets. In the video below, Matt discusses four deterrent methods available at JTI: simple padlocks, universal coupler locks, tire deflators and GPS systems. Used in combination, these are strong deterrents against theft.
